FONCTIONS, TÂCHES ET RESONSABIITÉS :
Manage and design renovation projects
Ensure design processes are followed
Conduct site visits and measurements
Lead client presentations
Maintain relationships and communicate daily with clients, contractors, tradespeople and design team
Taking your time with clients to go above and beyond, surpassing their expectations
Conduct client presentations along with the team
PROFIL, COMPÉTENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS:
LUX decor is seeking a full-time Designer with at least 3 years of experience to lead renovation projects for our full-service designs. This person will never work alone, so strong team mentality is a must-have asset. With already some amazing renovation projects in the works, this designer would integrate themselves in the team and start leading on new projects. This is a great opportunity to work with a talented, down to earth team and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Education and experience:
· 3 years of experience minimum required
· DEC or university degree in design field required
Skills required:
· Team mentality
· Strong organizational skills and solution-oriented mindset
· Excellent communications skills and a can-do attitude
· Strong administrative and project management skills
· Strong creativity skills and attention to detail
· Start-up mentality, ambition, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
· Knowledge of AutoCAD
· Knowledge of SketchUp is an asset
· Knowledge of materials, finishes and suppliers
· Proficiency in English (written/spoken) and French (basic skills)
CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL:
Salary range $35,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience
· 2 paid sick days per year
· 2 weeks of accrued vacation per year
· Paid week between Christmas and New Year's, not considered vacation, and will be reassessed each year
· 1 extra day off paid the week of your birthday
